  4. HPI Racing RS4 MT – kit #501 – 1/10 electric Monster Truck (1997)

    The HPI RS4 MT was the first “truck” version of the HPI RS4 RC car series. It was first released in 1997 in both electric and nitro version. The HPI RS4 MT was a powerful 4WD racing truck. The “MT” stood for Monster Truck, however it’s more of a racing truck by today’s standards. It came with a VW Baja Bug body (pictured here), Ford F150 body or a red Dodge Ram body. It is still considered a great off-road racing truck by today’s standards and also a great model to have in your collection.

    This article is about the 1/9th scale Kyosho GP Nissan Terrano Pathfinder with CCVT Transmission which was introduced by Kyosho in late 1991 / early 1992. The car was available in an electro and a nitro version. The electro version didn’t have the CCVT gearbox.     Featured here is the extreme rare ‘Milka edition’ of the Tamiya Volkswagen New Beetle on the front wheel driven FF01 Chassis, the Tamiya item number is 58217.
    This car originates from 1998. The Tamiya New Beetle with the FF01 chassis is already a rare find nowadays, but this special ‘Milka Edition’ makes it even more desirable, because only 10 cars in this Milka edition were made, ever! (more…)

  9. Kyosho Porsche 959 Limited Edition – Kyosho Kit No.4281

    >In 1991 Kyosho offered the 1:8 Porsche 959 which was based on a buggy chassis from Hobao called Pirate (RS), Kyosho made only the body and wheels for this model. This unique 1:8 scale on road car, which is really huge, was not designed by Kyosho. Kyosho made the body and wheels only.
    The first version of the Kyosho Porsche 959 was sold in a black carton box and the model was based on the Hobao Pirate (RS) buggy. The model was released in 1991 by Kyosho and the chassis was designed by Hobao. Another version of this car was sold as a buggy under Kyosho name, this buggy was called Prestige 4WD.

  10. Kyosho GP Landmax 4WD 1/8th scale

    The Kyosho Landmax 4WD chassis is based on a proven four wheel, shaft driven system, taken from Kyosho’s 1:8 competition off-road buggies. Features include three gear differentials, four long stroke oil filled shockdampers and four wheel independent suspension. Power is provided by an included GS-21R pullstart engine, which is pre-fitted to the partially assembled chassis. A fan assembly helps to reduce engine running temperature for improved power output. Precision ball bearings are included in the main transmission to help reduce friction and wear.

    The real, full-size Lamborghini Diablo was produced between 1990 and 2001. During this period, Lamborghini introduced several variations of the Diablo concept among which the Diablo VT (Visco Traction), which featured an all-wheel drive.
